Brussels on Wednesday 15th April

Early cloud broke and dispersed by 09.00 local time. Sunshine from then on
but it was very hazy again. Soon after 16.00 it clouded over from the east
with a couple of flashes of lightning and rumbles of thunder around 16.45.
A fairly sharp shower followed a few minutes later in the European district
of Brussels where I work, but when I arrived home there was no sign that it
had rained here, about 4 miles to the east.

Dry for the rest of the evening but large Cb and the remains of decaying
ones occupied much of the sky. Summer temperatures - light ESE wind backed
E to NE in the evening.

Brussels Uccle 24.4°C - overnight minimum 12.1°C - and 13 mm rain: 7
mm from yesterday evening's storm and 6 mm today.
Brussels Airport 23.6°C - overnight minimum 10.4°C - and 2 mm.
