Default SkyWarn UK

Hi guys,
just wanted to introduce SkyWarn UK to you. The plan is to launch in
July 2009, covering the southwest of England initially. A preview
website is online, and outlines much of what i aim to do. If any of
you have any comments please feel free to use the form on the website.
The url of the preview site is: http://www.skywarn.org.uk. Also, if
any of you would be interested in registering as a spotter please,
again, use the form on the website.

Cheers,
Rich

What relationship is this site to the US weather watcher's site?

"The emphasis is largely focused on the storm spotter who's responsibility
is to report on local severe weather, including large hail, damging winds,
and tornadoes. These reports are submitted to SkyWarn UK to be passed on to
the relevant organisations, including the UK Met Office.."

I look forward to the spottings.

Jon.

The US site has set stringent rules and tests its reporters regularly:

Check out his profile. He makes a habit of sending posts like this to
various sites (e.g. sci.geo.meteorology where he was pushing
weatherassist.net) He's also posted much the same thing to USW before.
The web sites are different each time - they never last.

All very suspicious to me.
