Default M.O Weather Gadget for Vista sidebar version 1.8

Anyone else having trouble with this? It keeps telling me to install version
1.8 despite having done this 3 times - works for a while then goes back to
telling me to install it.

The Firefox version is OK.

It is? I haven't had a Firefox update for ages that hasn't said there's no
valid version of the Met Office Gadget.
