Here is a summary of the latest NWP output for noon (GMT) on Thursday.
Issued 0521z, 26th April 2009. The end of the working week will see a weak trough moving eastwards across the UK, bringing increasingly light rain as it does so. By the weekend a col will affect much of the UK, with slow-moving showers likely. ECMWF: http://expert.weatheronline.co.uk/da...mwf/ecmwf.html The UK lies under a weak trough, with SE'lies over England and Scotland. Wales lies under light and variable winds, as does Northern Ireland. A col affects England and Wales on day 7, with SSW'lies elsewhere. On day 9 a high builds to the SW, with WSW'lies for the UK.
