No, of course not; but it looks like it.
The willow trees around our house are ripe, and when warmed by the sun, as on the last two days (and the Saturday before) they release clouds of fluff from the 'catkins'. A right niusance it is, getting in nose and mouth, forming drifts inside doors and of course seeking out where our painter has been trying to work. All cobwebs are festooned as though by hoar frost, it must be a right pain for the spiders! The lawn is changing from green to grey. We need some wind and a decent rainfall. -- Rodney Blackall (retired meteorologist)(BSc, FRMetS, MRI) Buckingham, ENGLAND Using Acorn SA-RPC, OS 4.02 with ANT INS and Pluto 3.03j |
