Persistent rain this afternoon, mostly slight but there were
short-lived moderate bursts from what appeared to be
Cumulus embedded within St, Sc and As clouds, the
latter thin enough periodically to reveal the sun.

At 1705Z, the rain finally decided to stop, and a ray of
stronger sunshine broke through for a few minutes at
about 1735Z. The rain is now falling from convective
