Pleasant down here in Penzance today. Mainly cloudy but bright this
morning, mainly sunny this afternoon. The breeze restricting the
maximum temperature to 16.2C, after an overnight min of 10.9C. Warmest
day here since 21st April.

Amazing how fast everything has dried after the the 132mm that fell
24th-29th. Even St Ives looks back to normal, save a few broken
flagstones & sandbags. Nice to have the good old Azores high back
over the last few days steering the fronts to the north and east. No
rain at all since a shower on ther evening of 2nd.

132mm 24th to 29th!!!!!

Opposite extreme over here in SE Lincs, 95mm so far this year, and
only 26.5mm since March 1st. Land very dry and dusty, grass brown.
Last nights 0.7mm all dried up by 0800 this morning. But I'm not
complaining...

Pleasant, bright, windy day over here today. Up to 17.2c with the odd
glimpse of sunshine. The longer we keep the easterly away the better!
