Nice pictures but I would not call it choppy (Asperatus.) Image 6 is
more like Pahoehoe. See:

.... I've seen similar to images 3 and 5 - this was raised in the
television programme on BBC4 recently - the CAS are trying to get the
RMetSoc to support an approach to WMO to add a classification for this
specific type. Not sure what the latest is on this though.
