After the warmest day of the year, eventual max 23.3C, last night was
the warmest night - minimum 13.4C. The sky is still cloud free, but a much fresher feel, and the temperature slow to rise as the cooler air trickles in. 15.5C at 08:40 compared to 20.3C at the same time yesterday. 3rd was rather exceptional, as despite the continuous strong sunshine, and air temperatures well into the 20s right on the coast, many places saw no sea breeze develop. www.sennen-cove.com/today2.htm (pic changes around noon) Graham Penzance |

Still very much 'beach' weather www.chapelidne.com/php/surf_report.php It will be interesting to see what the sunshine figures are for Camborne (or indeed anywhere in west Cornwall) for the 7 days ending this evening. I think the last time a cloud obscured the sun in Penzance was last Friday (29/5) There may have been some patchy early cloud before I emerge in the mornings. Graham Penzance |

A cool and cloudy start to the day but it brightened, and warmed up during the afternoon with a max of 18.5°C and over 6 hours of sunshine, but way down on what we have been used to. A much colder night in prospect. Feels rather cool out there now with the low DP. (22:30), 11.0°C, RH 71%, DP 6.1°C, 1016 hPa (F), Wind calm. ________________ Nick.
