Brussels on Thursday 11th June

Overcast at first after a wet night. Some sunny intervals from about 09.00
local time but cloud predominated until after midday. Longer sunny spells
in the afternoon with variable Cu.

Sky became dark quite rapidly and unexpectedly just after 20.30 followed by
a thunderstorm lasting about half an hour: fairly frequent - though not very
intense - thunder and lightning and moderate rain.

Moderate W wind veered WNW and freshened during the afternoon but fell away
again in the evening.
