Default Monday's Essex/Suffolk Storms in video

The BBC Look East site has at last posted the video reports of the storms on
Monday afternoon and evening:-

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/8102965.stm

A more light hearted aspect of it all:-

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/8102921.stm

And the full report he-

http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediaselector/c...bw m=1&bbwm=1

The last one may not stay on line for too long, and will probably be
replaced at 7pm tomorrow. The relevant bit starts at 6m 15s and stops at 10m
15s, and includes weather maps and rainfall contours, over 40mm in places.
Scary pictures for the middle of June!

Interesting map of rainfall data. Just goes to show how variable the
distribution of rainfall totals can be under these circumstances. Epping is
within the '20-40mm' area but we had only 2mm.
BTW I notice that Ipswich has been relocated to mid Essex
