Are his comments fair

I for one definitely feel they've been increasingly turned into a tool for
government nonsense

London is rife with crime, only yesterday afternoon my daughter called me
from Lordship Lane Dulwich SE London to say there had been an incident
involving several stabbings (its been on the news today) we all know about
the horrendous crime and lawlessness growing in our society yet the
government stay oh so silent on these issues yet via UKMO and the government
shout their concerned that a couple of people might die in a mythical
heatwave? Surely loss of life is just as important whether it be from a
crime or from AGW? Brown and Co don't seem to think so.

Something is rotten in the state of misinformation.

Okay not about weather direct but more about UKMO and its integrity and
agenda.

You feel it is that way. Good on you. As I've said, just because you
feel it is so, does not make it so. Fortunately.

The page stated the following:

"We have followed the contortions of the UK Met Office to avoid
disclosing data.

Last year John Mitchell, Chief Scientist at the UK Met Office,
obstructed compliance with an FOI request for his IPCC review comments
claiming his IPCC correspondence had been destroyed, then that it was
his "personal" property, resiling when asked whether the Met Office
had paid his salary and expenses for trips to IPCC destinations.

The Hadley Center webpage are in conflict with Phil Jones' land
station data (CRUTEM3) and his campaign to keep CRU station data
secret.

The Met Office webpage for downloading CRUTEM3 data
hadobs.metoffice.com/crutem3/data/download.html presently says:

"Most of the station data was given to us under conditions that don't
allow us to redistribute it...."

This raises several questions:

1) Who is attaching conditions to the station data and by what
authority?

2) If it's Phil Jones, who is also subject to the UK Environmental
Information Regulations, does he have the authority to attach
conditions to the Met Office use of this data?

3) If the Met Office can't show their underlying data, maybe they
should use data that they can.

4) Maybe whoever is funding Phil Jones (and I believe that the US
Department of Energy is one of his funders) should require him to
deliver the data back to them."

I can't see how tanks and full metal jacket policies the Toady B Liar
used would have any affect on it ....but then I can't see what they
would do against terrrists that five not so well armed Metropolitan
Assassins can't.

Here weatherlawyer, I went to two Leonard Cohen Concerts one in November and
the other earlier this year at the O2 arena. At both concerts the Leonard
Cohen fans were searched for weapons , knives primarilay as they had to pass
through the metal detectors. This really did make me angry and I remarked to
security that the only dangerous implements that middle aged middle class
Cohen fans would possibly be carrying would be razor blades to cut their
wrists. This follwed my work colleague a middle aged women being searched
for a knife on the platform of Rye Lane station in Peckham.

Now two days after the last Cohen concert at the O2 the 'Urban Music' show
took place, there was NO seaching of any of the audience, a massive fight
broke out and several people were stabbed plus gunshot fire was heard.

Now Cohen fans searced , usual suspect teenager not, explain that.

http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/UK-...wards_O2_Arena

Now I mention all this as there is something rotten in our government and
institutions that can readiliy at the drop of their masters hat, be prepared
to distort and bend.and UKMO is no exception.

Sorry to those that feel this is wholly inappropiate and not weather
related, however UKMO is tax funded and I'm a tax payer. UKMO are
increasingly being worked directly from the Labour Party cabinet. That is
wrong and will be shown to be the case in time.

Sorry all, but there it is.

I'd forgotten how much I used to like Loenard Cohen till I saw the concert
on TV. While still not agreeing with your conspiracy theories it is true
what you say about it doesn't matter how you die - at least to the loved
ones. My biggest bugbear is the number of innocent bistanders being
slaughtered in police car chases. They are huge but largely kept quiet. To
commit manslaughter to solve a crime is outrageous although judging by the
many tv programs showing these police chases the police clearly think it's a
bit of fun.
