Default Today's model interpretation (25/06/09)

Here is a summary of the latest NWP output for noon (GMT) on Monday. Issued
0444z, 25th June 2009.

A col will affect the UK for the first half of next week, with light winds,
hot sunshine and high humidity. There will be slow-moving thundery
downpours, especially in southern areas, while the far north will stay
cooler due to an ENE'ly breeze.

ECMWF: http://expert.weatheronline.co.uk/da...mwf/ecmwf.html
Winds are light across the UK from days 5 to 7 due to a col.

MetO: http://expert.weatheronline.co.uk/da...ukmo/pslv.html
The UK lies under light winds from a col on days 5 and 6, the exception
being northern Scotland. Here, winds are ENE'lies due to a ridge to the
north.

GFS: http://expert.weatheronline.co.uk/pslv_frame.htm
A col covers the UK, with light winds for all. The col persists on day 6 and
7.

GEM: http://expert.weatheronline.co.uk/da.../gem/pslv.html
The Canadian run is unavailable today.

JMA: http://www.wzkarten.de/pics/Rjma1201.gif
The Japanese run shows a ridge from the north and a mixture of NE'lies and
SE'lies for the UK.
