Default Level 2 Heatwave warning for some southern UK areas Mon/Tue next week

Watch your old folk and your potatoes, I suppose, there's a plume a-
coming. MetO says it is likely to be hot and humid in the south of the
UK next week ("heatwave" conditions) and that these conditions could
spread to other areas later in the week. Highly likely to provide
opportunities for some more storms too, I would imagine.

Potato blight conditions are likely to be triggered too.

Some scoffing at the warning by some on another thread. What's the
chances of 90F during next week and a night-time min of 20C in the SE?
