Default [WR] Tideswell airmass change

A clearer and rather less humid airmass appears to have reached here from the
SE during the past hour. Vis has improved to 30 km and the dewpoint has fallen
below 15c. The humisery index has dropped from 7.7 at 0925z to 5.8 at 1015z. It
feels a lot more pleasant now.

I like warm weather but I'm starting to envy you your dewpoint. The
dewpoint's 18C here now, and despite temperatures climbing into the
mid 20s, there is very little sea breeze. Mind you the sea temperature
out in the bay is now 18C http://www.channelcoast.org/data_man...arts/?chart=75
Still thick sea fog on Scilly. www.tregarthens-hotel.co.uk/webcam-harbour.php

Considering the waving front which has been just off west Cornwall for
days, it's surprising we've had no measurable rain from it. Some very
attractive ac castellanus currently.

I'll watch out for it as I'm downwind of you in a SE flow.
Currently 26.0C. It had gone beyoind 20C by 8am,
always a good indication of an eventual max in the high 20's.

At least you *have* the sea to jump into, in this sort of weather...

Hot today in Haytor.
24.4C max. DP now fallen to 15C.
But, as always, a nice gentle breeze up here.

I did just that, at the Battery Rocks Penzance, normally a cold spot
as 3 strokes & you're in 20' of water, but it felt almost tepid. With
the still, sunny, humid conditions the SST reached 20C in Mount's
Bay later today, http://www.channelcoast.org/data_man...arts/?chart=75.
To think, the air temperature struggle to reach that in 2008.

Apologies for repeating what I'd already said in another post - which
I thought Google had lost - but hadn't

I wish it was only that 'hot' here...

DP now fallen to 15C.

It seems to have fallen about 5C overnight here, though it hasn't worked
through *into* the house yet.

But, as always, a nice gentle breeze up here.

I though having a fan on all night would be a good idea - but I woke up
after having a dream of being trapped in an unstoppable hurricane...
