Default [WR] Otter Valley, Devon - 23rd July

A fairly quite day with just the odd light shower. All the activity was
further inland of here. Bright and sunny out to sea, dark and ominous to the
north.

A max of 21.1°C making it the warmest day since the 15th (21.7°C). An
overnight low of 11.2°C was cooler than the previous few nights. So far
night time low temperatures are above the LTA whilst the day max temps are
below the LTA; overall mean temperatures are now slipping below the average.

Only 0.9 mm of rain since midnight. Now over 6.2 hours of sunshine for today
making it the 'sunniest' day since the 13th. Total monthly sunshine has now
passed the 100 hours' mark.

July 2009 is so far putting July 2007 & 2008 to shame for sheer cloudiness,
rainy days and lack of any real warmth.

The holiday-makers will soon be arriving and it would be such a shame for
them if the conditions carry on like this.

It cannee go one I tell ye, something's got to give.......

(19:05), 16.4°C, RH 68%, DP 10.8°C, 1007 hPa (R), Wind 5 mph SW.
