A bright, breezy day with sunny intervals. A max of 20.6°C after an
overnight low of 11.6°C. A rainy Sunday afternoon and evening gave 14.9 mm bringing the total for this month so far to 114 mm. This is now more than the two 'wet' Julys of 2007 & 2008 and is 280% of the estimated LTA. Sunshine levels have increased noticeably this last week and the total so far stands at 130 hours, but this July still has a long way to go to catch up with July 2007 (181 hours) & July 2008 (188 hours) but beats last year's miserable August which gave only 120 hours. (20:55), 14.2°C, RH 71%, DP 9.2°C, 1016 hPa (R), Wind 2 mph WSW. ________________ Nick. Otter Valley, Devon 83 m amsl http://www.ottervalley.co.uk |

Nick- where do you get this LTA as I really ought to write down amounts for my area R Hilton ( a rather modest 78.6mm - yet the check the other AWS at work) |
