Another pretty good summer's day, setting a trend of good to superb days
since the 5th. How different to this time last month where we were in a run
of cold days and nights, hardly any sunshine, windy and plenty of rain.

And how different to this time last year when the weather was at its most
appalling. On the 16th the day max was only 15.4°C, windy & 16 mm of rain.
The 17th wasn't much better with a day max of 18.7°C and more rain. Sunshine
up to the 17th was just 60.5 hours with 3 days when the sun didn't shine at
all.

Sunny intervals and just a light breeze made it feel much warmer than the
21.2°C max today, after an overnight low of 14.9°C.

A pleasant, calm evening.
