Yesterday saw a damp morning. During the afternoon there were spells
of sunshine right on the coast of Mount's Bay, but mist formed as soon as the air started rising, so many parts just 800yds inland were gloomy. In fact it looked quite threatening, looking inland, such a contrast with the sun shining on the sea. Became generally sunnier in the evening. Today, bursts of showery rain this moring, not amounting to much (around 1mm). Mainly dry but still cloudy & quite mirky this afternoon, with a generally Force 4 SSW breeze, and a very lumpy sea. (Althought there's a clean wave on the north coast www.sennen-cove.com/todaysurf.htm ) Temperature around 18C much of the day, (briefly hit 19C) dewpoint around 17C. No more huge pods of common dolphins, they've moved on, though plenty of bottlenose Dolphins around. http://www.marinediscovery.co.uk/img...-dolphins1.jpg taken at dusk, with Penzance Prom in the background. http://www.marinediscovery.co.uk/img...-dolphins2.jpg in Mount's Bay Graham Penzance |
