Default [WR] Storms, S.Essex

After a very blustery day with a few isolated showers some explosive looking
Cu developed during the early evening. This led to some storms and some rain
which was locally heavy. Somewhat short lived though, producing only 2.9mm
here. (Manual gauge, AWS seems to have stuck, probably spider again, after
over two weeks of inactivity). Nevertheless the dramatic drop in temperature
and pressure at 8pm can be clearly seen on the trends page he-

Just got back from the Cliffs Pavilion (Evita) and noticed I'd
recorded 2.0mm of rain this evening. We had a coffee over looking the
estuary before the show and had a great site of the CN and showery
activity looking towards Kent.
