August rainfall is now up to 310.2 mm which makes it the wettest month
here since January 2008 (338.8 mm). Total for the year now 1338.4 mm. -- Alan White Mozilla Firefox and Forte Agent. Twenty-eight miles NW of Glasgow, overlooking Lochs Long and Goil in Argyll, Scotland. Webcam and weather:- http://windycroft.gt-britain.co.uk/weather |

That's 67% of 1971-2000 norm, so it has been rather dry, also rather warm, and pretty cloudy. I think you may be confusing Cornwall with SW England. Graham Penzance |
