Default Thurs/Frid blow

UKMO, ECMWF & GFS all seem keen on a deep low for the latter half of
next week. Looks like the first Autumn storm to me ;-)

Default Thurs/Frid blow

Last month, the local council spent three weeks clearing out all the rotten,
fallen and leaning trees in an area of woodland next to our estate. Then
with the rather strong breezes we experienced about a week ago, and a large
proportion of established trees no longer in attendance, half a dozen more
have come down, or are leaning somewhat dangerously against others.

So with your doom-and-gloom prediction, can we expect to find the rest
resting peacefully on the ground after the event?

jim, Northampton
