The past week has added 1.8mm to my monthly total for August Now
standing at 11.5mm.. After Old Bill producing a brief drizzly spell and 0.5mm and a thunderstorm with no rain on Friday 28th afternoon but a brief heavy shower in the evening with 1.3mm in guage, it's still mighty parched here. It appears that the front now out west will decay with little precipitation as it crosses this area later before regenerating over nerby Europe as has happened so often before. Whilst we must surely? see some rain from the big low coming later this week I note that on Thursday GFS rings us with precipitation but has none at all over us for Thursday daylight hours I hope it's wrong!
