28.6mm in 5 hours 11:00-16:00

Not a particularly large amount (Just last July 51.8mm fell on 16th,
and 48.4mm fell in around 12 hours on 29th) but it fell in brief
intense bursts. One such deluge overwhelmed the drains and caused some
flooding in Penzance, resulting in the firebrigade pumping out shops
in the Wharfside Complex.
