The only purpose of this update is to catch out people who Microsoft
think are running invalid copies of Office, many of whom have bought
it in good faith.

If, like me, you got MS Office Professional edition for £9.50 on Ebay
- complete with key, and you've been installing all the updates to the
present time quite happily, this is likely to stop all that, and
provide some annoying warning messages! It can't be uninstalled, the
only simple solution is go to an earlier restore point to get rid of
it.

Then all is peace & happiness again.
