Default Avbrief down?

Is anyone else having problems with the Avbrief radar? I can get animated
sequences, but the individual radar frames seem unavailable since sometime
yesterday (near midday?).

Got the same problem here got 0900Z image then no more.

The service has been poor recently, unfortunately for me I just
renewed before the service went up the spout.

I have been with them, I think since the start, when there as a battle
to obtain 15 min radar - it is a pity they cannot maintain the
service.

Thanks Andy. The link you gave me has allowed me to recover all the hourly
images from yesterday morning to present.

Yes, I agree wholeheartedly about the sorry state of Avbrief. They provided
such an exemplary service for several years, but recently they seem to be
unable to keep things going, and their response to faults seems to have
shrunk to a '9 to 5 working days only' service.

Yes, Col, thanks for that. I do use that site at times. But is it possible
to save individual frames? When I try this, I get the radar display on a
black background, without any map.

I emailed support at about 6:30pm on Saturday and had an immediate
automated acknowledgement. This included the following information:

"AvBrief Private Members

Your queries will be handled as quickly as possible usually within one
business day."

So that means some time on Monday.

To say I am unimpressed would be a major understatement. In fact, it's
*completely unacceptable* for a paid service and it will a very
significant consideration when I next decide whether or not to renew.
