I was in the garden at tea time, lovely early evening sun. Went indoors to
get a fag, and the local radio station was saying how rain had stopped play
at the county cricket match 3 miles down the road. Huh??? Went back outside
and looked up to see a few fluffy white clouds wandering about up there, but
nothing that looked like it might be spawning any rain. So the water butt is
still half empty; would have been half full, but that rain never came up the
road. Talk about local conditions.
