Default Sept 2009 Raunds, Northants - very dry, 8.3mm rain.

Very dry, with temperatures a little above normal. Warmest Sept since
2006, driest since 1996. The long dry spell was the most notable
feature of the month with no measurable rain from the 3rd

BBC's Look East did a summary of September's weather last night, and
Northampton had 17mm for the month. Bedford had 8mm, given as 15% of the
normal. Chelmsford had 36mm with 25mm of that falling on one day (15th).
Just shows that what rain any of us had last month was definitely local in
nature.
