A welcome 4mm of rain so far today with more forecast for the next couple of
days. We really need some old fashioned days with over 20mm for a couple of days to start turning things round. Since July 2005 there have only been 5 days with over 25mm of rain. A local RSPB wetland reserve, Rainham Marshes is as dry as it has been in recent memory and there are concerns for the wildlife the- http://www.flickr.com/photos/dcweather/3983750114/ Dave |
