Default Coronation Street tonight.

One to get the sceptics and deniers up in arms.

Interested in the Government's message about climate change? Watch
Corrie tonight, but don't go and make a cup of tea in the
ads............ *))

Nah I'm an Eastenders fan, especially Ronny Mitchell naughty!
Corrie reminds me too much of my roots, it is so familiar, it is like being
back home in the 1960s.

I gave up on Eastenders some time in the 1990s. There never seemed to be
any humour or light relief; everyone in it seemed to be miserable all
the time.

Heh! I know what you mean about roots and Corrie - which was always
called Cora on my council estate! I'm a fan of neither. Never watch
the things. Won't tonight either, for that matter. I'm more interested
in seeing the hubris at the interval entertainment!

That's the attraction for me. After all we're all miserable sods up here on
Dartmoor :-) Latest story is about Stacey about to be sectioned under the
Mental Health Act, then there is Ronny who wants a baby but her partner has
had the snip (that's a real hoot that one), then there is Max who slept with
his son's wife (can you believe that!), misery and more misery - fantastic.

Great day today on Dartmoor, rain pouring down, no wind and foggy,
temperature +10.2 at 1030 - luvvly jubbly :-)

I hope that's tongue in cheek, but I fear it isn't! There's just no
hope for you! I'm sat here ("no you're not, you're sitting") looking
out on the most dreary day in Dawlish, with the raion coming down in

LOL they do!

Some people who move up here cannot stand the seemingly endless rain and fog
and leave again. But when you get days like yesterday (still, quiet and
sunny) it more than makes up for all the gloom. Also the days of fog on low
ground with Haytor above the inversion bathed in warm sunshine and light
winds looking at what seems like mountain peaks pointing out the top of the
fog - they are magic, till the fog lifts up due to stirring and it turns
cloudy. Then there are the guaranteed several mornings in winter with an
inch of powder snow above 250m asl glistening white under a blue sky making
that lovely crunchy sound of virgin snow.

As always each place in the UK has its own special weather and you have to
learn either to love it or leave it. So, ... I love the rain and cold, ....
It's drizzling now - a bonus! :-)
