Penzance - 5.7C minimum last night, the coldest night of the Autumn so
far. Incredibly still, I've don't think I've ever stood on Marazion beach - possibly the most windblown beach in Cornwall, without feeling even a breath of wind before. At times, virtually the only real cloud was man made, a mass of contrails. Worth a look www.turnstone-cottage.co.uk/recent.html for pics of the contrails, and to see just how calm it was. I've never known such consistently calm sea conditions during Sept/ Oct. Graham Penzance |
