.... I know that was your 09 ob, but did you see the contrail to the
south about 1420Z (3.20pm BST), that did a 180deg on itself? Heading
east initially then returning sharply westward, the turn roughly SSW
of us here (East Dorset).

No, I don't get a view to the S unfortunately. The houses opposite are
in the way. The only really clear view I have is to the N and NE. I'm in
a village in a valley (sounds like a pop song!).

BTW, I'm just trying to fix up a webcam that works by sending pix via
wireless to my network. But the waves will not penetrate through thick
walls, so when the webcam is in a communication position, the only view
I can get is to the west, with the church tower in view. I'll post
something about it when I get it to send pix to my website.
