Default VP2 solar radiation sensor

I have noticed that the readings started showing high values after heavy
rain. Could it be water on the terminals in the in the ISS.?

I'm hoping it's not the actual sensor - I've had this since Xmas 2005 now
without any trouble,

Today it started to show intermittent values of 1698 1686 WM2 even when
dark. Not noticed this at any other times since new. High readings coincide
with rain

Also shows 9 WM2 throughout last night for solar rad and high solar rad:
solar energy 0.13 consistently throughout last night too

Any clues to what may be wrong - this is an expensive sensor so I'm hoping
it's not the end?
