Sat here wondering what's going to happen next. The dog started complaining
a while ago, so I let her into the garden, and found all my potted fir trees (3ft high) had blown over in the wind. Don't think we're at the worst yet (it's only midnight), but that's the first time that's happened in the 15 years I've lived here. And Radio 2 news has just reported severe flooding in the West Country. Hope you lot down there are still in one piece and upright (hot toddy's permitting). jim, Northampton |
