Default Needles - Wind Gust and Anemometer Query

I see over last weekend the Needles on the Isle of Wight reported a
gust of 100mph - not unusual given its exposed location and I know
thre have been similar reports from there in the past on such weather
events.
However, I would be interested to the the location of the anemometer
and type of instrument. Having visited the location sometime ago I
don't recall seeing an anemometer on the lighthouse or Old Battery
lookout. However having checked the Met Office web site I see Wight -
Needles Old Battery is listed as an AWS - anyone have images or
details the instrument set up?

Having visited the station recently i can confirm that yes the Station
is located at the Needles Old Battery Lookout right above the
Lighthouse. Its an Automatic Weather Station reporting wind only. I
can send you some pics if you wish to send me an email.
