What do you reckon? After all there is a warning out for the same amount of rain again (as i read it) I am off underground so it should be certainly sporting caving on the mendips tomorrow R |

Stopped here at 1915 allowing jacket free dog walk. Clocked up 21.4mm here and like you at times heavy. Actually nothing like as heavy as that on the squall line last Tuesday(?) night just after midnight when the AWS zoomed up to 112mm/per hour. I am up to 168mm here this month but the more exposed AWS at work might be higher. I have records there for 5 - 6 years and it might be a record month I think. R |

(0930Z/Sunday): bucketing down as I start to type this (heavy shower), after a night of slight, ocnl moderate rain showers. Rainfall 24hr to 29/09Z = 27.6 mm. Month's total now = 161 mm, roughly 164% of eLTA (1971-2000) Before this current shower came along, the sky full of all sorts of cloud, from ragged Cu to thick/ex Cb cirrus tufts.
