Has anybody warned the politicians going there next week about the weather I
wonder? From Monday onwards it is going to turn bitterly cold with temperatures by day probably not rising much above -5C with a biting mainly NE wind bringing heavy snow at times. It could make journeys difficult, though I should think that they cope a lot better with snow than we do! ----------------------------------------------------------- Will (Haytor, Devon, 1017 feet asl) ----------------------------------------------------------- |

I guess that the yank sceptics et al will make the most of it, despite not understanding it! (the irony of course). |

IIRC the polar bear is stranded on a rock not far from "the Little Mermaid" and makes a much better photo. -- Rodney Blackall (retired meteorologist)(BSc, FRMetS) Buckingham, ENGLAND Using Acorn SA-RPC, OS 4.02 with ANT INS and Pluto 3.03j |
