The gfs 12z shows some unusually cold air being advected over England
and Wales on Friday, behind a trough sinking southwards over the SE.
If there is precipitation, it would be snow with -10c 850hpa air
over us and that little low could produce not just a covering, but
some significant snow in SE England, perhaps extending (crossed
fingers) further West on Thursday night into Friday. Looking very
interesting at less than 48 hours away!

But for the SE, the fine print indicates that it's only Kent that the
warning applies to.

I honestly think the snow will be more widespread than is currectly
indicated in that warning.
