Default Copenhagen again.

I have found a little to chuckle about it over the past few days. Not
any more, the sight of police and demonstrators battling it out in the
snow does no good for anyone. I suppose they will cobble something
together by Friday-but not a lot. The greens have shot themselves and
their cause in the foot (if causes have feet). And the whole thing,
which I thought would be a well organised get together has turned into
a worse mess than I thought possible. Rather sadly, Paul,

Sir David King said on Newsnight tonight that the hacking of ten years
worth of emails had been performed by a sophisticated organisation. He
also said that they had been deliberately released just before
Copenhagen. In other words there is someone with a lot of wealth and
power trying to wreck the negotiations. Financing Agent Provocateurs
and Rent-a-Mob would not be an unknown tactic. These riots only play
into the hands of the sceptics so there is every reason to believe
that it is them who are trying to damage the credibility of the green
movements.

Cheers, Alastair.
