Haven't said that since early 2006. This is the heaviest snow, and
coldest weather we've experienced in France in three years, but of course, it's only weather... 15 cm of lying snow now, and it's chucking it down again. Not quite cut off, though, as interestingly the tiny narrow track which passes our house has been (snow)ploughed, and is passable. I do so hope those nice, rich people in Copenhagen give generously, then I can live in the certain hope that the temperature won't rise above another 3 degrees. Whoopydoo!! CK |

CK Of course its only weather but when a man drenched in pouring rain tells you to beware of a drought its bound to raise some eyebrows as well as umbrellas Well it's beginning to look as if all those nice people in Copenhagen, who have been flying in and out in their private jets, swanning around in nice, comfy limos, and enjoying all the Danes have to offer, including the whores, by all accounts (at our expense) have had a two- week bash of unmitigated hypocrisy for - nothing. No more than expected, I suppose. That nice Mr. Brown hasn't "saved the world" (well, not HIS idea of saving it, anyway) with the help of the dusky, plastic American? Blalir-alike, and so it was all a predictable waste of their time and our money. They are, apparently, meeting in Mexico, next year, where at least it will be warm, thus lending "impetus to the emergency" that is, er, "man-made climate change" (and having, no doubt, a far more congenial time at our expense). By which time the UK, hopefully will have a new (if no better) government. Hopefully, also, by which time those who should know better will have woken up to the despicable, barefaced scam the whole thing is in reality, and "real science" will be back on track. Even Gore may be publicly disgraced - that would be the cherry on the cake. "Give us your money, western mugs and if you do, hey presto!, the average global temperature shall not rise above 1.5 degrees (or 2, or 3 or whatever)". If it were not so threatening to our lives and economies, it would make bloody good comedy. Can you imagine Mugabe doing stand-up? Perhaps with the assistance of Brown, the scottish slack-jaw, and the indomitable Millipede (Mark 2). Good old China, they're not completely daft... Dawlish, I don't see you laughing... step up, man, step up... CK |

Dawlish, I don't see you laughing... step up, man, step up... CK Gordon Brown due to his politics has basically shafted the English, that law abiding solid core that work, pay their taxes (for an increasing appalling return) and never hurt a fly have to pay for an exponentially burgeoning army of spongers, drug addicts and criminals . Of course there is a genuine body of folk who want to work but have become victims of a faltering economy but the bulk are in for the life style choice. I should know I have several family members who have never lived any other way. You will note though that while Brown wants to take these taxes from what are increasingly becoming battery chickens to slave his middle class Scottish lefty guilt he couldn't promise the victims of the recent floods in Cumbria more than a million pounds yet wants Europe to contribute to an annual massive sixty odd billion victim support of evil western climate change fund, yet can't in his own country (well England then) help out decent hard working folk of Cockermouth who actually supplied the money he wants to squander to maintain his place in the Socialist Hall of Fame Mind you I came by chance upon this James Hansen Video the other day, which for me illustrates how deeply divorced from reality as the video opens Hansen warns that people from Africa and South America who live where the climate zones are beggining to shift will not be able to continue to enjoy the live styles they have had for the last millenia!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-MdJ...om=PL&index=19 Oh really James, is that so? In reality their lifestyles have benn miserable, riddled with decease, low life expectancy and so on, in fact its so bloody bad you blithering idiot that as many as can try to immigrate to the USA, England and Europe where fossil fuels are being used. |
