It is frustrating that I can't use the temperatures I am getting from
my Davis console as it is been affected by next door neighbour's gas flue. Both maximum and minimum temperatures from my Davis console are constantly higher than my thermometer in the back garden which is under a tree. I can't put my Davis weather station under a tree as it won't catch rainfall. Some examples of the differences are for the 18th Dec manual thermometer max temp 0.3c Davis console max temp 0.5c. Manual thermometer min temp -2.8c Davis console min temp -2.5c. The 19th Dec saw the manual thermometer max temp 1.0c but the Davis console 1.4c. Manual thermometer min temp was -4.8c but the Davis console was -4.4c. This morning the manual thermometer min temp is -5.3c which is the lowest temperature I have recorded compared with -4.7c on my Davis console. Nicholas |
