RMK: Sl/mod snow 2240 to 0030 (briefly heavy), has
left 2-3cm fresh snow, total depth averaging 15cm.
Temp was just above zero for about five hours but
there was never any sign of snowmelt. Super radiation
conditions from dawn to sunrise. Snow-surface
mins re-exposed at 0830z and read at 0930z. Sky
bluer and sunshine stronger than at this time yesterday.
Definitely winter wonderland here - last night's snow
came with light winds, so the trees have caught it all.
On the downside, my beautifully sculpted 1m drift
now has much smoother curves.

Our visitors made it down from Bedfordshire yesterday. They've come to

, but given what they've left behind, I think the kids are less than
impressed!

We had barely enough for snowballs Friday evening. Temp rose to 6.9C
in the early hours of today. Cold now, snow pellet shower at 10:00.

RMK: Tr Sc in the far NW, otherwise sky a deep
blue and sunshine surprisingly strong
