Default Penzance - Colder Again - Keith take note!

Yesterday's sunshine & light winds resulted in a maximum temperature
of 6.9C (rather warmer than the 'official' warmest place in the SW), a
very pleasant winters day. The same clear skies allowed the
temperature to dip to -1.8C overnight.

Cloudy before dawn, but unusually for this location, the frontal cloud
moving in from the SSW has had little effect on the temperature.
Despite a few spots of rain by 09:00, the ground was still frost
covered, the air termperature 1.2C.

The very light rain (not measurable) has now slipped away south again.
Some breaks in the cloud to the NW, temperature currently (11:00)
3.5C. So no sign of warmer air yet, and if that's the case down here I
suspect the rain will readily turn to snow as it heads into the SE.

Struggled to 5.0C, so nearly 2C down on yesterday, now (15:40) back to
4.6C

No measurable rain here, just a few spots, rather less than the radar
suggested. Cloud broken now, and almost calm conditions (NE F1)
