Default Utterly foul afternoon...

Nothing but heavy rain here (Southampton) and light level more like
4pm than 2pm. Yeuch!!!
These marginal near miss situations, when it's almost cold enough for
snow but not quite, seem to occur incredibly often compared to when it
actually snows.

This part of England is really nice from February through to October,
I'm happy to say, but at this time of year it's probably one of the
worst places to be...
