32.7mm, which makes 23rd December 2009 the wettest
day in Romsey since 2nd June 2008. Almost non-stop
rain again today until 1340Z.

The local fast running brook is full to the brim whilst the
fields are partially flooded with up to 50% of the surface
underwater in some of them.

Ice is still an issue here on some of the minor roads, and
the woodland paths remain treacherous with a hail/snow
topping. Misty in the woods. Stubborn fog over the
River Test has recently banked up against the hillside
west of Romsey.
