Complete snow cover and snow falling for 10 straight days in Wishaw
now. The temperature hasn't been above 3.5ºC since the 10th of
December.
A snowfall last night changed to heavy freezing rain, the ice isn't a
new problem though as all minor roads have been terrible for - yes -
10 days. Another slight thaw today, but the snow has recently started
again. Depth of snow is 22cm.
With no signs of mild air returning soon, I wonder if we make it to 20
white days here, or even 30! The second half of December is turning
out to be quite exceptional.
