Interesting contrast between Brussels and Amsterdam. The boundary
between the mild and colder air clearly lay somewhere between the two.

Yes. The front lay across the centre of the Netherlands at midday

less the same position at 18z

See my "Brussels" post about the sharp rise in temperature in Brussels
around midnight last night as the mild air moved north.
