Brussels on Wednesday 30th December

Remarkable rise in temperature around midnight on Tuesday night as the
milder air arrived in Brussels. Brussels Airport reported 2°C and a light
NE wind at midnight local time and 10°C with a moderate SW wind an hour
later.

Dull and misty all day. Drizzle at times in the morning and light rain for
a couple of hours after mid-afternoon. Raining again now. Mild until
early afternoon but temperature began to fall around 14.00 local time -
about 9°C then but only 4°C now. Light S wind at first veered to WSW by
midday and has steadily moved round to be ENE this evening.

Brussels Uccle 9.7°C - overnight minimum 2.5°C - and 7 mm rain
Brussels Airport 9.4°C - overnight minimum 1.6°C - and 9 mm

10.6°C was recorded at Uccle and 10.3°C at the Airport soon after 01.00 this
morning.
