Brussels on New Year's Day Friday 1st January 2010

Overcast again for a good part of the day. A few flakes of snow drifted
idly down after 13.30 local time but by 15.00 or so the cloud started to
break and the sun appeared. Cloud cleared steadily from the west from then
on and the sky was more or less clear by dusk.

Frosty evening with a bright moon now: around -4°C already at the time of
writing. Keen NNE wind at first; light N and eventually NW wind after
midday.
