coldest night of the winter thus far and again the lowest temperature here
since March 2nd, 2001 (-13.1ºC).
26th day on the trot with an airfrost. 19th consecutive day with complete
snowcover (at 28cm it's gonna take a while to melt when a thaw finally comes
along). And today is very likely to be the 6th ice day of the period.
The rolling average temperature for the last 30 days is now -2.3ºC. This is
now below the average temperature for the remarkable (and record breaking)
December 1981 in this area. It really is something else!
